As a Group and as individuals we are committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and tackling climate change head on.

It's not good enough to rely on the fact that we build and operate facilities which exist to reduce emissions and sequester carbon. We have to take the battle against climate change into the very essence of our business.

Later this year we will publish our first Bio Group carbon audit. Each year we will review and publish on our website our annual carbon audit and our carbon reduction. We have set a target of 25% reduction in three years. We will achieve at least that.

We also want our people to have access to information and training about carbon and climate change issues, both at work and at home. This year we started a program whereby all colleagues have access to information and we also initiated a program of distributing low energy light bulbs to everyone, so that within three years all of our people will have been able to convert all or most of their lighting.
